Garlic Rosemary Pretzel Pull Apart Bread {Plus Delicia Winner Announced!}

October 25, 2013
Happy Friday!
I know I’ve been gone for a while, but this past month has been crazy!  My little baby turned 1 year old on October 7th.  We threw a HUGE birthday party for him and it was a blast!  We had an bounce house, balloon artist, airbrush tattoos, a delicious BBQ food truck, and an ice cream truck for dessert. Yes, we went allll out!  I’ll share pictures soon!

PLUS, not only did we have a huge party for Ezekiel, but my younger sister just got married this past weekend!  I did a lot for the wedding so my days and nights were filled with party and wedding planning.  The wedding was absolutely beautiful.  I can’t wait to get some of those pictures in so I can share those with you too!

Believe it or not, I have been baking and cooking a lot, I just haven’t been able to take pictures and blog about it.  BUT I’m back and up-and-running, and I should be back to posting regularly.

First things first, I have the winner of the amazing Delicia Giveaway!  Congratulations Adele Duran! I will be emailing you to get your mailing information so you could claim your prize.

Now, I can share with you this super delicious Garlic Rosemary Pretzel Pull Apart Bread.  This bread came about from a box of Simply Homemade Pretzel Creations Baking Mix.  With this mix, you’re able to make Pretzel Bread in less than a hour!  Because I didn’t want to make basic pretzels, I decided to create a Pull Apart Bread flavored with garlic and rosemary.

Using this mix, I had a pretzel dough in minutes and it didn’t take me long to turn that bread into garlic and rosemary flavored pull apart bread.  From the simplicity of this recipe, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but it truly was delicious!  My husband, Steve, and Ezekiel couldn’t get enough!  You can even see by the picture below that Ezekiel wouldn’t take his hands off of it.

Next time you want to make homemade bread, but don’t have lots of time on your hands, go pick up a box of Simply Homemade Pretzel Creations Baking Mix // it couldn’t be easier and more delicious!

XOXO, Krissy

Makes: 1 loaf
1 box Simply Homemade Pretzel Creations Baking Mix
¼ cup Olive Oil
3 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
2 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary, Chopped (About 1 tablespoon)
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.  Following the directions on the Simply Homemade box, prepare the pretzel bread as directed.
Oil a bread loaf pan and set aside until needed.
Once the dough has risen, divide the dough into 15 chunks.  Place a towel over the bread chunks.
Fill a pot with 6 cups of water and place it over medium heat.  Add the baking soda packet that comes in the Simply Homemade box.  Stir to combine.  The water will be cloudy.  Once boiling, add the bread chunks, 4 at a time, and allow them to cook for a 2-3 minutes.  With a slotted spoon, remove the bread and place on a paper-towel lined plate.  Repeat with the remaining bread chunks.
In a medium bowl, stir together the olive oil, garlic, rosemary, and the packet of pretzel salt that comes in the Simply Homemade box.  Place the bread chunks into the bowl and using a spoon, carefully toss the bread until it’s completely coated with the olive oil mixture.
Pour the coated bread into the prepared loaf pan.  Place the bread in the oven until the top is golden brown and the bread is fully cooked, about 15-20 minutes.
Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool slightly before serving.  Serve with Pepper Palace Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce.  To enjoy this bread, all you do is pull off a piece of the bread.
This bread lasts up to 7 days in a sealed container in the refrigerator.  To reheat, place in the microwave for 30-60 seconds.
