Here I give you the first drink presented on Krissy’s Creations.
I have been wanting to create a beverage for you for quite some time. But since it was going to be the first, I wanted it to be special :).
Nothing too complicated.
Something that was sweet. But not too sweet, like your drinking sugar.
A drink that can be adapted to your taste level.
And of course — the most important — something that tastes good!
Well, I think I got it. The perfect “starting off” drink.
It’s a Banana Chocolate Milkshake.
It’s got bananas.
It’s got chocolate.
It’s got ice cream.
Yum – Yum – Yum!
What I did first was create a banana chocolate milk. You simply blend bananas, cocoa powder, milk, and a little bit of vanilla. That’s it – you’ve got banana chocolate milk in seconds.
This milk on it’s own it delicious. You can definitely just drink it on it’s own. That’s why the recipe I gave you below makes 2 cups, where you only need 1 cup to make the milkshake. You can either make another milkshake with the remaining cup of milk, or you can drink it on it’s own :). Whatever you prefer. Or of course you can cut the milk recipe in half if you only want to make 1 milkshake.
To make the milkshake, all you do is blend the banana chocolate milk and ice cream. Easy! Depending on your taste level, you can always add more or less ice cream and milk. Do what you like with this recipe. Play around with it. A milkshake is meant to be a fun treat, so have fun with this recipe :).
I ended up not putting whipped cream on the top of this milkshake. However, feel free to add some on top for a little extra creaminess and sweetness.

Makes: 1 large glass = 1 pint = 2 cups
1 cup Banana Chocolate Milk (Recipe Below)
4 large scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
Whipped Cream, For Topping (Optional)
Banana Chocolate Milk
**This recipe makes enough for the above milkshake recipe, plus 1 cup leftover to make another milkshake (or drink by itself)
3 Ripe Bananas, Sliced
2 cups Milk
2 tbsp. Cocoa Powder
1 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
To make the banana chocolate milk, place the bananas in a blender (or a food processor). Pulse until the bananas are completely pureed and smooth. Add the milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla, and pulse until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
Place a mesh strainer over a medium bowl and strain the banana chocolate milk to remove any larger chunks of banana or chocolate. Transfer the milk to a bottle to store. Place in the refrigerator to chill before enjoying.
This chocolate milk can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
To make the milkshake, combine the banana chocolate milk and vanilla ice cream in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy :)! You can top the milkshake with whipped cream if desired.
